Grievance Policy

If you believe that you have been wrongfully denied help by this office or if you wish to complain about the services that we have provided, you can do the following:

            (a)        YOU MAY ASK US TO REVIEW THIS CASE:

            This request may be made to any Central Jersey Legal Services employee and need not to be in writing.  You will meet with the Executive Director, a Deputy Director, or Managing Attorney and your case will be reviewed promptly.  If this review does not satisfy you, you may proceed to the next step.

(b)       YOU MAY ASK THE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE TO REVIEW YOUR CASE:

            This office is governed by the Board of Trustees.  This Board has established a Committee to hear complaints.  If you want this Board to review your complaints, you may call, or write to the Chairperson of the Committee:
