Requirements:

• Associate degree or Paralegal certificate;
• Family Law experience;
• Bi-lingual/multilingual: English/Spanish;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Commitment to serving low-income community;
• Legal aid experience a plus;

Salary: $53,280.00 – $84,679.00 per year DOE

Job Description:

Assisting Attorneys in the family unit: Interviewing clients, research and fact gathering, negotiation, advising clients under supervision of attorneys, as well as conducting occasional community education events. The Paralegal will also assist the clients with preparing pro se pleadings and trial preparation. The Family unit handles domestic violence restraining orders, support, parenting, divorce, and other family matters.
